About Us

INDIVISIBLE NEWARK DE
FIRST STATE
Indivisible Newark DE First State was formed in Dec 2024 by a concerned citizen in Newark DE. We are part of a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups around the U.S. with a mission to elect leaders at the local, state, and Federal government levels committed to accountable, transparent government and the rule of law. We have a growing leadership team, 50+ active members at each chapter meeting, and hundreds and sometimes thousands of people at our public protests. We welcome all people who share our mission of defending democracy and restoring the rule of law.
We are continually working to improve our organization and thus improve our impact. If you have skills that could be useful for our organization and are willing to donate your time, please send us an email! (IndivisibleNewarkDE@gmail.com).
Mission Statement

Indivisible Newark DE is dedicated to peacefully championing American democratic values; a transparent and honest government that upholds a just and fair legal system; civil and human rights; and social and economic justice and opportunities for everyone. We fiercely oppose all efforts to institute authoritarianism in America and other threats to the U.S. Constitution.

We strive to engage and empower the Greater Newark community to be aware of challenges to those American ideals, and to take action so they can be heard and effect change.

About Project 2025

Democracy Forward has created a guide the People's Guide to Project 2025 which is a terrific summary of Project 2025.

We have all heard or read about this manifesto that guides Trump's strategy, but unless you read it you don't know how far reaching it is.
